AGM 2018

Increase to joining and annual fee

10 October 2016

As of the 1st October 2016 both the KCU annual fee and joining fee will be increased to £2.00.

This decision was made at the Annual General Meeting on the 9th February 2016. Please see the minutes of the meeting below for further information.

- withdrawal cheques written to a third party (ie.not the member themselves)

- withdrawals via BACS to a third party account (ie. not in the name of the member)

Kernow Credit Union is 10 years old!

On the 10th of February 2004 KCU's predecessor Kerrier & the Fal Credit Union was authorised by the FSA. When Cornwall Council became a Unitary Authority, K&FCU changed its name and "common bond" to Kernow Credit Union covering everywhere west of the Tamar and the Isles of Scilly.

Welfare Reform Bill

The Government has unveiled its Welfare Reform Bill which may mean many of our members finding themselves financially worse off.
Please contact us on telephone no. 01209 / 314449 (10am - 3.30pm weekdays) if you genuinely find yourself struggling to meet the repayments terms of your loan agreement.
We will gladly discuss the arrears position with you and if possible try to re-negotiate the terms of your loan. Kernow Credit Union will always endeavour to provide appropriate support to members but can only help if you contact us. We are only a phone call away!
